Course Description

One of the most overwhelming parts of playing bedside music is that there are many unknowns. We walk into a room unsure of what songs we'll end up playing, how long we will be there, and how we will best interact with the patient. A simple solution to this problem is to have plenty of songs set and ready to go. Easier said than done, right? 

Not anymore! This course is the key to adding to your repertoire with ease! I've come up with a simple step-by-step process that focuses on learning the most important elements of a piece, and then using those elements to gain a deep understanding of the song. Instead of just learning the notes, you will be able to modify the piece as needed in your bedside sessions. You will incorporate freedom and experimentation in your learning process, and discover why an open mind is more beneficial than playing perfectly.
